on the Estate, plus a range of Farmhouse cheeses, home cooked

Highland
Activities...
Located
in the opposite direction to Rothiemurchus, at Kinloch Laggan
on the road to Fort William, we can also suggest Highland
Activities. They are a modern outdoor adventure
centre offering quality outdoor activities including quad
biking, white water rafting, canyoning & gorge walking,
clay pigeon shooting, off road driving, paintballing, archery
and mountain biking for groups, individuals and corporate
events. They are based on Ardverikie Estate in the Scottish
Highlands, home to the Monarch of the Glen T.V. series.

Wildlife
There’s
an abundance of wildlife to see in the area – and you
don’t have to stray far to see it either! The Cross
is home to several red squirrels, and deer, dippers, woodpeckers,
herons, treecreepers and woodcock have all been seen from

Walking
and Climbing
Within
the Park you’ll be spoilt for choice with a range of
walks and climbs to suit all ages and abilities. There are
no fewer than 46 Munros alone to entice the keen climber!

are numerous short walks around Kingussie, and worth exploring
is the Wildcat Trail which is 3 miles to the south around

Wintersports
Ski-ing,
snowboarding and other winter pursuits are offered on Cairngorm
(less than 30 minutes from The Cross). Equipment hire is available
