There’s
an abundance of wildlife to see in the area – and you
don’t have to stray far to see it either! The Cross
is home to several red squirrels, and deer, dippers, woodpeckers,
herons, treecreepers and woodcock have all been seen from
our windows this year. |

Walking
and Climbing
Within
the Park you’ll be spoilt for choice with a range of
walks and climbs to suit all ages and abilities. There are
no fewer than 46 Munros alone to entice the keen climber!
There
are numerous short walks around Kingussie, and worth exploring
is the Wildcat Trail which is 3 miles to the south around

Kingussie
is on the Badenoch Way, and close to access for the longer

Kingussie
is on the 215 mile cycle route from Inverness to Glasgow –
